The SR-6 Model has a 6 inch gauntlet that extends way up the forearm. There is also a rubberized fabric material inside the gauntlet which will not slip against your jacket sleeve. And, the other gloves usually just have the Keprotec on the fingers, not the entire palm covered like the Snow Raider Snowboard Glove.

The outer shell fabric is 500 Denier Dupont Cordura Nylon. This fabric is very durable and is used in many outerwear garments for winter sports that require extra durability. THOR Gloves use Thinsulate Insulation to keep your hands warm and protected from the cold. We always recommend that you pack a pair of liner gloves and use them on days when the temperature is below 20F. Always pack liner gloves. We always recommend that you use some type of aerosol silicone spray to coat your gloves before your next outing. Doing this will keep the outer shell fabric clean and not allow any moisture to invade. This is a good thing to do to all of your garments used for snowboarding.
