DEER HUNTING on the ranches improves every year due to a strict
harvest management program. The deer hunting is managed under
a Texas Parks and Wildlife MLD Program as well as a QDMA
Program. The deer herd has been managed for 7 years and the
results are starting to be observed. The overall antler quality is
improving in regards to B&C score and there are far less trash
bucks on the ranch than in previous years. A good genetic line is
starting to emerge in the deer herd. The population of white-tailed
deer has almost doubled in the past 6 years. Today, there is an older
age class of bucks with good antler genetics roaming the ranch.
The ranch can produce bucks in the 140 - 170 B&C range. The deer gets better every year.
Trophy buck hunts are very limited on the ranch. The trophy buck hunt is a very fair deal. Hunters pay $ 400.00 for 4 days of hunting. When you harvest your buck, there is a harvest fee paid based on the Gross B&C Score. The cost of the trophy bucks varies with Gross B&C Gross Score. Visit the web site listed at the bottom of the page to get all the deer hunting information.
HOG HUNTING take place all year around. There are a lot of feral
hogs on the ranch. This hunt takes place mainly at night. The hog
hunting business on the ranch is popular because of the low price
and quantity of hogs on the ranch. The cost for hog hunting is
$ 150.00 for the first day and the second day is free.
2 hogs per day is the allowable limit per hunter.
